Assured Home Health, Hospice, Home Care and Medical Staffing is a well-established and highly regarded community based agency, caring for patients in their homes or in longterm care facilities. Founded as Assured Home Health in 1978 in Chehalis, Washington, Assured first opened its doors in a single room over the J.C. Penney store with a card table, chair and four dedicated people with a passion for home health care.

Over the next 18 months, the operation grew to 35 employees in Lewis County. In 1985, Assured expanded to include hospice services in Lewis County.

In 1987 Assured grew again with the opening of an office in Olympia to serve neighboring Thurston County. A Morton office was added in 1989 to help serve eastern Lewis County. Hourly Home Care was added in Olympia as third service area for Assured in 1990. Olympia, Washington and Portland, Oregon are also centers for Assured’s Medical Staffing services.

In 1996, Assured was faced with serious financial problems that threatened the agency's ability to service the community. A local health care specialist and investor helped orchestrate Assured's rise to financial solvency. In 1999 Assured Home Health & Hospice became independent and employee owned.  

Today Assured is owned and operated by its 300 employees. Assured operates out of 8 offices throughout western Washington and Oregon.
